5k Hill Climb
5K runners will start at the base of Little Mountain, climbing 705 feet over 1.55 miles to reach the summit—then turn around and race back down to the finish.
10k Double Hill Climb
10K runners will take on Little Mountain not once, but twice. Starting at the base, you’ll climb 705 feet over 1.55 miles to the summit, descend to the base—and then dig deep for a second ascent and final descent to conquer the course.
6 Hour
The 6-Hour Challenge is a true test of endurance. Runners will take on the same grueling loop as the 5K and 10K courses—ascending 705 feet to the summit of Little Mountain and descending back to the base—again and again. The goal: complete as many laps as possible within 6 hours. You can begin a new lap as long as there's enough time to finish at least a half lap—either from base to summit or summit to base.
12 Hour
The 12-Hour Challenge is a battle of grit and endurance. Runners will follow the same demanding loop as the 5K and 10K courses—climbing from the base to the summit of Little Mountain and descending back down. Each full lap is one round-trip from base to summit and back. The goal: complete as many laps as possible within the 12-hour time limit. You may begin a new lap as long as there's time to finish at least a half lap—either up or down. How far can you go when the mountain keeps calling?
6 Hour Relay
The 6-Hour Challenge is a true test of endurance, and now you can take it on as a team of three. Using the same grueling loop as the 5K and 10K courses—705 feet of climbing to the summit of Little Mountain and a descent back to the base—teams will rotate runners however they choose, with one runner on course at a time. The objective: complete as many laps as possible in 6 hours. You can start a new lap as long as there’s time to finish at least half a lap (up or down)
12 Hour Relay
Similar in format to the 6-Hour, the 12-Hour Challenge is designed for teams of four looking to go even farther. The same rules apply—one runner on course at a time, as many laps as possible—but with twice the time and a whole lot more mountain.
Awards
We LOVE witnessing incredible athletic performances that inspire. To reward these types of performances at Little Mountain Endurance Challenge we will award cash prizes of $25 for the top male & female racers in each event. Plus $50 for the top team overall in the 6-hour and 12-hour relays. Additionally, we will provide custom wooden medals to the top three male and femal finishers in each event as well as the top three relay teams in each relay event.
